My wife is a Law and Order buff, mostly for SVU and CI but I've gone ahead and decided "why the fuck not watch how it all began."

Hence, my adventure commences.

all 447 episodes to date, shall be viewed. I will post my findings after each season.

God save me...

SVU is a good show. but i mean. eventually you'll realize it's all the same...

it's a show you gotta watch week by week. i don't know about watching 10 episdoes back to back.

i've done that with CSI (the good one) and omg it was nuts..

theres a formula and if you watch that many back to back it becomes really clear.

house has a similar problem except house is only really about house being a d-bag which i can watch no problem

The part of the formula where there is always a hot black haired lawyer chick is right on though.

i'm guessing you won't make it through. i can't watch those shows. they are always the same story and because of that they are so easy to figure out.

still, as mentioned, they usually have hot bitches.

L&O Season 1: Pretty decent for the time it was created, you have to see all the flat tops on shoulderpads...its awesome (Chris Noth is too young)
L&O Season 2: Same shit as first season but with a new sergeant (Paul Sorvino). There are alot more rising stars in this season compared to the first, which is probably the only saving grace.

Been watching a few episodes of L&O:SVU and i'm actually enjoying the twists they implement in SVU better than L&O.

on to season 3...

Season 3 and 4 were better than the first two seasons, 3 being my favorite so far. You can see how the development of story began to evolve into deeper plots and how the show seemed to have a much more dramatic feel to it. We get much more character development in these seasons with the detectives and DAs.

season 5 may take a little longer to get through now that i've begun to focus on NUMB3RS.

Numbers is great to watch one show at time with. Anything past that, you get the formula realllll quick.

Dude ... saw one of the new episodes and kinda got hooked.

Janette will only watch it if we start the show from the beginning. What format do you have them in? I'm gonna have to start looking ... but I prefer .mkv for my setup.

all .avi. i play them using media center on my xbox. I took a break from the original L&O to watch Criminal Minds.

We're just about done with the 5th season of CM and I'm hooked on this one.

Which L&O did you start watching? I know they have all 11 seasons of SVU on Netflix now.
